From the small stage to Broadway, Carney is no sideshow band

When we saw Carney in concert, we knew there was something special about this band (led by singer Reeve Carney, his guitarist brother Zane Carney, bassist Aiden Moore, and drummer Jon Epcar). But then again, so did Julie Taymor and U2's Bono and The Edge who cast Reeve as the lead in their new Broadway rendition of Spider-Man. After we profiled the band in our fall 2010 issue, others took notice, including Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, and Entertainment Weekly. lf that's not enough proof of this band's rising star power, check 'em out live.
