Thinking Pink: Breast Cancer Awareness Goods

Support the search for a cure with these rosy picks

October’s here, and pink is in! Celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by scooping up some goodies for yourself and the women you love. Part of the sale price of each of these hand-picked items benefits breast cancer research and outreach.

Treat your body right with these little indulgences designed to give you some much needed one-on-one time—with yourself. Sink into a silky bath with AHAVA’s Hope Blossoms Mineral Bath Salts ($22). Or, soften up hands and feet with Avon’s Foot Works Overnight Renewing Foot Cream Set ($7.99) and Aveda’s Hand Relief Cream ($19-$21).

Let your accessories speak for themselves. Deck yourself out in these funky, conversation-starting gems and wait for the compliments to roll in: Rosena Sammi’s Sanskrit “Hope” Necklace (l$99) and Elva Fields’ vintage hot pink sequin earrings ($50).

Spread breast cancer awareness while you bake (or microwave) all year long with Susan and Veronica’s Pink Ribbon Apron ($39.95-$52.95). And keep a little pink ribbon reminder for yourself by wearing Affinitas Intimates’ post-mastectomy-friendly padded demi-cup bra ($28).

Think Before You Pink raises good questions about how much of the profits actually go to research. A good reminder for all of us to choose wisely while trying to do the right thing.
