Chicago-based photography studio hosts a concert/fundraiser

Kyle LaMere, founder of photography studio IshootRockstars, took a simple idea he had and watched it blossom over the past year: for each visitor that entered his home, he asked them two questions "who are you, and what do you love?" and snapped a portrait of them. Now, LaMere has gathered over 300 photographs of the people he encountered throughout the year and would like to celebrate his project, VISITORS, with Venus readers!

In hopes of self-publishing the photographs into a book, he is throwing a concert this Friday at Logan Square Auditorium featuring performances by local DJs and bands. However, just 319 books will be printed, so be sure to pre-order your book and ticket HERE while you can!

In addition, proceeds from the book and ticket sales will go towards Reason to Give, a charity that reaches out to help underprivileged Humbolt Park families. The money will directly contribute to buying the kids and their families toys for the holidays.
