Like most rock music–loving girls, I can’t stand to look down at my natural nails. Black or some other color must always be painted on. My dilemma is that I can’t stand how cheap it looks when half your polish is chipped away, which often happens to me within one day of applying. Yes, I actually work with my hands. I also dislike the torture of acrylic nails or anything thicker than polish. My nails should be low maintenance and short enough to play a guitar.
Gone are the days of painting my nails only to have to fumble around while they dry and have the polish chip later that same day. I have SpaRitual's new Truebond Stronghold Basecoat and Topcoat pairing. In combination with their Andalé Dry & Shine Drops, I am now free to quickly paint and dry my nails without the fear that they'll chip and result in a huge wast of my time. Seriously, with the help of Truebond, my nail polish doesn’t chip for about a week! That’s even after I cleaned my apartment (a task that has destroyed many a manicure).
Another fact I love about SpaRitual is that their products are vegan, organic, and free of synthetic dyes, so even if you have an allergy to normal nail products you can safely try them. Plus, there is the added benefit of not using a product tested on animals (always shoot for sustainability!). Vanity has never felt so positive.
