Jenny Lawson is pretty awesome. She’s the brains behind one of my new favorite blogs, The Bloggess. The site captures her day-to-day experiences and silly situational matters with a perfect blend of sass and self-deprecating humor.

She writes so well and so hilariously about seemingly uninteresting tales of life, marriage, and motherhood that she can keep me entertained for hours. Lawson rambles about everything from funny day-to-day mishaps (the time she thought she put laundry detergent in the dishwasher) to random musings (the time she suspected she could possibly be related to Marlene Dietrich…or a cold blooded killer).

The Bloggess does it all, with equal parts satire and awesome. If you want to get some entertaining insight into the psyche of a smart, thoughtful young woman, log on.
