I have an addiction. It keeps me “stumbling” through each day. No, I’m not stumbling home from drunken nights — StumbleUpon.com allows me to search through all kinds of interesting web sites. After I created an account, I checked off my interests and downloaded the StumbleUpon toolbar. By just clicking the “SU” logo in the toolbar, I am directed to sites than match my interests.
If I like what I have “stumbled upon” then I click on the thumbs up icon and it is saved to my account, and if it does not tickle my fancy, I give it a thumbs down and never have to see it again. If you have random enough interests like me, you can go from an informational web site on how to talk like an Aussie to a crafting blog and then to a site on how-to-break writers’ block site.
StumbleUpon allows you to search for anything from anarchy and tattoos to puppies and knitting—all you have to do is start stumbling. Be warned that once you start, it’s not so easy to stop.
