After more than 25 years and over 15 albums, Yo La Tengo has crafted a sound that epitomizes the dreamy and the lush. Prepare to hear vocals from drummer Georgia Hubley linger in a way that's as reassuring as it is distinctive. Her singing also fits perfectly well with her husband, vocalist and guitarist Ira Kaplan. Together with James McNew, Yo La Tengo delivers on the theory that there is beauty in melancholy, like track "Autumn Sweater.” At the same time, the band may break out a few of their more rocking tunes, such as "Cherry Chapstick." Considering it's the audience making the requests, be expected for just about anything!
