Christine Bejasa loves Chicago's Gen Art Film Festival

While I love having fun in the sun, I also like to spend my summer days holed up in a dark, air-conditioned theater, slurping an Icee and watching movies. Luckily Chicago's Gen Art Film Festival started yesterday, and I couldn't be more excited. From June 23-27, Gen Art is bringing a little bit of Hollywood to the Heartland by hosting red-carpet movie premieres followed by afterparties at hotspots all over town. The festivities kick off with the premiere of (500) Days of Summer, starring VZ's former cover girl Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Four nights of movie premieres, celeb spotting, and after-partying? Um, yes please.
