Growing up in Ohio, I spent summers going to the county fairs, but now when I want to do an outdoor festival, I prefer not to be surrounded by the smell of cow dung. Imagine my excitement to discover the Randolph Street Market Festival, which connects shoppers to vintage vendors and indie designers, all under the summertime rays of Chicago.
Held on the last Saturday and Sunday of every month from May through September, the Randolph Street Market is home to the Chicago Antique Market and Indie Designer Market. Passing through rows upon rows of vintage clothes, accessories, and decor certainly put a dent in my wallet. But remember, although the prices may be higher than a flea market, the same rules apply. Try haggling, and just in case that doesn't work, you can visit the ATM truck for some more cash.
