Sarah Collins loves Black and Red Eye

Normally I’m against buying a record based solely on their cover art, but in the case of The Measure [sa], I couldn’t resist. I’m now a nerdy collector of the covers — iconic images of people like Rosa Parks and Kurt Vonnegut recreated in text collage — done by the Measure’s own Lauren Denitzio. Lauren’s new art website Black and Red Eye, is an exercise in consumer lust and restraint. Every poster would fit perfectly into my indie rock dream home.
