Colgate360

In the 1400's the Chinese attached hairs from a hog's neck to a piece of bamboo and thus the modern day toothbrush was born. Since then, the toothbrush has evolved from crude bone and wood handles and animal hair bristles to the synthetic plaque cleaners we all know so well.

In fact, the toothbrush has evolved so greatly that the variety of bristle and handle combination's in the supermarket is mind numbing. Needing a new toothbrush, I recently faced these high-tech tooth cleaners and was overwhelmed by the technology behind them. Battery-powered whirligigs graced nearly every toothbrush and just as the slurry of options was getting the best of me I saw it: the Colgate 360.

Now, the hardest part of toothbrush shopping is selecting the perfect one, but the problem is knowing how well it will jive with your jaw. I am not sure why the Colgate 360 stood out to me, but it did.

At home, I glopped a pea-sized dollop of toothpaste upon the fresh bristles of my 360 and began to brush. It took only a moment for me to realize I had found the perfect toothbrush. The bristles move in perfect harmony with the contours of my teeth; covering every inch of tooth from gum to tip. While I brushed I noticed that the real magic is happening on the inside of my cheek.

On the back of the brush head there are little rubber knobby things that gently massage the inside of your cheeks while you brush. These knobs can also be used to clean your tongue, but the massage on the inside of the cheek is downright soothing. The 360 is the magnum opus of toothbrushes for Colgate. Absolute perfection; every angle engineered to clean my teeth better than I have ever been able to before. The Colgate 360 is a tooth brush so special, (I kid you not,) I went out and bought a case of 20.
