Kirsten Kilponen loves Garance Doré

France’s street chic adorn the fashion blog of illustrator Garance Doré. Originally the site was only en français, but its growing popularity in the worldwide street fashion scene created a demand for an English version. She captures a range of people from glamorous old ladies to young poncho lovers, and she bumps into some celebs and supermodels in their non-runway threads along the way — her most recent encounter being Leelee Sobieski. There’s pretty drawings too, of loosely sketched, imaginary muses wearing frocks inspired from the latest trends that Doré obsesses over. Her eye for style and spontaneous, flattering photography of hip French trendsetters creates something so visually pleasing that the translations don’t even matter.
