Kirsten Kilponen loves Nutrilicious Vegan Donuts

No more diving in the Dunkin’ Donuts dumpster to satisfy my lust for sweet, ever-so circular pastries. I have found the answer to my vegan prayers: Nutrilicious Vegan Donuts. Yes, that’s right, vegan f-ing donuts! Before, I had to get freshly bagged baked goods from the alley to avoid contributing my dollars to that pesky dairy industry, but now they’re just a click away.

What are they made of exactly? Despite my strong belief that they are made out of magic, they are mainly made out of spelt, which is high in protein, has all the essential amino acids, B vitamins and minerals, and potassium and iron. They come in flavors like carob iced, cinnamon glazed, and pumpkin pie, to name a few, and they don’t contain any animal by-products (obviously). That means no cholesterol, no eggs, no dairy, no MSG, and they’re all natural and kosher too. Then what makes them taste good? There’s still cane sugar in them, and sugar makes everything taste good, duh.
