Kirsten Kilponen loves: Kim Gordon’s Mirror/Dash clothing line

J’adore Urban Outfitters’ latest collaboration with Sonic Youth songstress Kim Gordon. Her new clothing line, Mirror/Dash, draws inspiration from French muse Françoise Hardy. Urban Outfitters has partnered up with the likes of Charlotte Ronson and Samantha Pleet and now noise-rock musician Kim Gordon. What kind of threads come from a vocalist, guitarist, bassist, and artist, who is inspired by such a fashionable icon? Clothes that are nothing like her brash, previous clothing line X-Girl, but attire that is soft yet striking, and is as timeless as Hardy herself. Gordon focuses on everyday staples with a vintage flare for her limited edition line, which make the wearer look oh-so-effortlessly stylish, and as the French would say, “tres chic!”
