Where on earth could you get your very own, personal, peanut butter making machine? How about a brownie tray that makes every single baked piece have delicious crispy edges, or how about that coffee table with the built in fish tank that you’ve always wanted? Why, you can find all those tempting items in Sky Mall Magazine, of course. Sky Mall is that often-overlooked magazine that’s in the back pouch of chairs on airplanes, right in-between the guide of things to do if the plane crashes and the barf bags. At first blush, it appears to be full of useless junk (like laser combs that re-grow hair), but upon further inspection you’re sure to find at least one thing you never knew existed, but now can’t imagine living without. It’s also full of hundreds of gift ideas that will suit all of your friends' weird tastes. Sure the catalog is there because the people who profit from it know they can make money off of our boredom, but you don’t even have to buy a single thing out of the catalog to reap its enjoyment. Just laughing at pages of kitschy crap is gratifying enough.
