I like radio, not knowing what I am going to hear next is a pleasurable, exciting, and sometimes worthwhile experience – I may find a new band I like, or I might just find a new band I love to laugh at.
I also like to be mobile, and FM radio transmitters have only come so far since they were bulky headphones with an antennae pointing straight to the sky. Slacker, mobile radio wunderkinds, have finally released a version of their mobile radio software for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
Slacker offers thousands of radio stations in full stereo. Some stations are artist stations, so you know what you're going to get. But some are wonderfully randomized, perfect for discovering your new love or punchline.
