What do a felt squid and a lamp made out of cocktail umbrellas have in common? Well, not much except that I want them both. Kooky handcrafted items like these have found a home at the Handmade Arcade, Pittsburgh’s biggest indie craft fair. With last year’s attendance at a whopping 8,000, you better run, not walk, on November 8 and 9 to make sure you snatch up any of the adorable items on sale this year.
Personally, I’ve got my eye on a baby-blue onesie with a giant, happy bean stitched onto it for my soon-to-be born niece.
