Erica Phillips loves Schadenfreude's Kate James

You could say I have a crush, but even that word is a bit mild to describe my feelings toward Kate James. After ten years performing with Chicago comedy outfit, Schadenfreude, James (a founding member of the group) is funnier than ever these days. Recent stand-out skits have included Kiss Me Deadly, a fictional reality show in which 80s rocker Lita Ford (played by James) searches for love, and her Tips for Surviving the New Depression, a series of farcical PSAs created by the "Department of the Treasury". For a good fit of giggles, check out the video comedy and live-show recordings on Schadenfreude's website.
