Christine Bejasa loves Kid Robot

Since 2002, Kidrobot, the company responsible for the cigarette-smoking bunny, has been making brightly colored vinyl figures that look like characters from the craziest video game ever. Kidrobot toy designers make small runs of a series (often where Kidrobot teams up with other designers/companies), so once a toy is sold out, it enters into the realm of “collectors’ item.” An apparel line was started two years ago, and its designs also reflect the post-graffiti, urban street graphic illustrations that mould the Kidrobot motif.
