No doubt the Huffington Post is one of the smartest news websites and weblogs. The editors have even written a new book on the subject, definitively titled The Huffington Post Complete Guide to Blogging. But what do the HuffPo editors actually read in their downtime, say on a slow news day or just during some quality procrastination time? We ask a few to tilt their computer screens our way.
Arianna Huffington, Co-founder and Editor-in-Chief
My guilty online pleasure is surfing my favorite shopping sites, and ordering things I love when I should be thinning the wardrobe herd in my already jam-packed closet. I am particularly partial to soft v-neck t-shirts and yoga pants you can wear to bed, and even softer cashmere sweaters you can wear to bed in a snowstorm. My favorite sites to browse are Adam Lippes' and Ports 1961.

I love to check in on Curbed.com to see what's happening in the New York real-estate market. Being able to peek at how other people live is a bit like real-estate porn.
Anya Strzemien, Senior Style Editor
Except for the few times I've accidentally opened up a porn site, there's really nothing I would minimize on my computer out of shame. That said, the sites I visit when I need to procrastinate are Us Weekly, Daily Mail (to see what amazingly over-the-top things British journalists can get away with), Refinery29 (for gorgeous street style pictures) ... and, of course, I've lost more than a few hours of my life to TMZ videos.

My job is to read the Internet. All day. It's awesome! But there's a dark side to this double-edged sword: I get bored. Quickly. That's why I read Jezebel. It's kind of like getting drunk with your best friends and ranting tangentially about all the absurd news you read that day. (Not that I drink. Or rant. OK, sometimes I do both.)
Katherine Goldstein, Associate Blog Editor
Astrology is a bit of a joke around the office, and I know most of my colleagues are non-believers. However, one of my favorite procrastination sites to counteract all the political reading I do is Astrology Zone. I find the monthly forecasts to often be scarily accurate, and the section on "Find Your Ideal Mate" just plain hilarious. I expect to never live this down.
